摘要: Using the percentage of mature females as an index, reproductive period brown shrimp, Farfantepenaeus californiensis, off coast Sonora in Mexico, has been shown to occur throughout year with two peaks mass spawning. The objective this study is determine if a similar occurred Agiabampo, at Sonora-Sinaloa border. By combining 3 indices females: size structure, abundance and fecundity size, single egg production index (EPI) was calculated. Monthly samples from January through December 2002 were collected during 5 continuous days around full moon (full ±2d ays). Trawl net tows used depths 1-9 m, 2k m north south mouth ac oastal lagoon. EPI, peak, May August, found, most important month. On other hand, showed peak period, one more intensive August second less November. We concluded that best determination shrimp required use three indices. Particularly species well-defined just massive spawning peak.
