摘要: Abstract To fully understand the reproductive habitat of brown shrimp, Farfantepenaeus californiensis, this study analyzed dynamics stock in a semiarid coastal region Gulf California. Monthly biological samplings were conducted simultaneously lagoon and adjacent marine waters from January through December 2002, during 5-d periods centered on full moon (full ±2 d). An Egg Production Index EPI was used to determine period. The main period April August June July inside lagoon. 10 times greater than We conclude that, contrary what is generally believed, shrimp can mature possibly reproduce lagoon, although most important spawning waters.
