Perfusion weighted MRI: A new tool for epilepsy surgery

摘要: This paper presents a serie of twenty patients explored with perfusion weighted MRI (pMRI) during interictal state. We applied MR regional cerebral blood volume (rCBV) maps computed from pMRI for studying hemodynamic changes compared to stereo-EEG (SEEG) recordings in suffering drug resistant epilepsy. Four original and significant patterns were identified hypo hyperperfusion. Perfusion appears very promising tool epilepsy surgery.
