摘要: • Regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) was studied in ten patients with focal cortical epilepsy. The measured by the intra-arterial injection of xenon 133 ( Xe), and isotope clearance recorded a multidetector scintillation camera 254 detectors. Three were both during seizure (in same setting) interictal period; six only period, one patient seizure. Studies seizures all showed marked increases areas presumed to participate activity. This finding accords earlier studies. All nine phase showed, either spontaneously or activation intermittent light, comprise epileptic focus. These hyperemic foci probably reflect subictal neuronal hyperactivity epileptogenic nervous tissue. Only two had distinct electroencephalographic foci. It appears that rCBF studies can be valuable diagnostic tool investigation lesions.
