摘要: This paper evaluates different strategies to make significant improvements in fertilizer supply smallholder farmers Sub-Saharan African (SSA). Use of chain analysis is advocated as a means identifying entry points where targeted interventions can shift the curve right. The growing contrast between role played by other regions and very limited use SSA has stimulated debate about Africa, what types policies programs are needed realize its potential benefits. objective this provide comprehensive overview current state knowledge key debates concerning demand SSA. Technical, economic, policy issues addressed. An important component assumption that encourage economically sound technically efficient use, not simply increased use. concludes: A likely elicit greater increase aggregate than simple movement along response lower price. Effective for based on farmers' perceptions response, which may differ from observed scientists. Hence, be through agricultural research identifies more responsive crop varieties land husbandry practices efficiency reduce production risk.
