摘要: Evolutionary rates provide important information about the pattern and mechanism of evolution. Although rate gene sequence evolution has been well studied, expression is poorly understood. In particular, it unclear whether level tissue specificity influence divergence profiles between orthologous genes. Here we address this question using a microarray data set comprising signals 10,607 pairs human mouse genes from over 60 tissues per species. We show that degree are generally conserved orthologs. The profile change during negatively correlated with expression, measured by either average or highest among all examined. This analogous to observation (or protein) level. impacts on evolutionary profile, however, opposite. Highly tissue-specific tend evolve rapidly at but slowly Thus, different forces selective constraints must underlie expression.
