摘要: Cell expansion in dicotyledonous leaves is strongly stimulated by bright white light (WL), at least part as a result of light-induced acidification the cell walls. It has been proposed that photosynthetic reactions are required for light-stimulated transport processes across plasma membranes leaf cells, including proton excretion. The involvement photosynthesis growth and wall primary bean tested inhibiting two ways: reducing chlorophyll content intact plants with tentoxin (TX) treating discs 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea (DCMU). Exposure to WL TX-treated plants. Discs excised from green well TX-or DCMU-treated also responded growing faster WL, long exogenous sucrose was supplied photosynthetically inhibited tissues. caused epidermal surface TX-leaves, but incubation medium mesophyll cells only occurred when not inhibited. concluded enlargement leaves, necessary walls, mediated pigment other than chlorophyll. Light-induced excretion on hand, may require both product (or sugars) non-photosynthetic effect.
