摘要: Exergy analysis was applied to a revolving vane compressed air engine. The engine had swept volume of 30 cm3. At the benchmark conditions, suction pressure 8 bar, discharge 1 bar, and operating speed 3,000 rev·min−1. It found that second-law efficiency 29.6% at conditions. contributors exergy loss were friction (49%), throttling (38%), heat transfer (12%), fluid mixing (1%). A parametric study also conducted. parameters be examined reservoir (4 12 bar), (2,400 3,600 rev·min−1), rotational cylinder inertia (0.94 2.81 g·mm2). higher initially increased but then plateaued about 30%. With inertia, decreased. As compared speed, is most practical significant modified.
