摘要: Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) data are used to produce an active-fire detection product for the fire season in 1999 and 2000 area burned 1996–2000. The distribution of is presented ranging from Urals west eastern coast semi-dry steppe regions south through taiga north. A temporal spatial pattern observed migrating north 40° N latitude April 60° N by mid-July. Fire widespread August, spanning entire geographic range. In contrast these patterns, no similar east–west migrations discernible data. Peak counts detected early May between 50 55° N both 2000.
