摘要: Low-frequency electromagnetic fields (EMF) have been suggested to affect the brain via alterations of blood–brain barrier permeability iron. Because an immature barrier, young may be particularly vulnerable EMF exposure. It is therefore possible that behavioral and neurotoxic effects resulting from EMF-induced iron excess in would greater adults. The objective present study was investigate interaction between low-frequency overload rats. In Experiment 1, we tested on spatial learning memory. Iron treatment did not performance a reference (Morris water maze) working memory task (8-arm radial maze). contrast, detection change object exploration impaired. These correlated with modifications serotoninergic metabolism. 2, combination exposure tested. As rats were impaired tasks but mildly change. Overall, results showed effect spontaneous processes. However, potentiate
