摘要: Hydroxy terminated polybutadiene (HTPB)-based polyurethaneurea membranes with and without cross-linkage were synthesized first used as membrane material to separate p-/o-xylene mixtures by pervaporation. Compared HTPB-PU (without cross-linkage) membranes, HTPB-DVB-PU (cross-linked divinyl benzene) demonstrated a lower degree of swelling in xylene isomer solutions noticeable improved separation factor p-/o-xylene. On the other hand, amount p-xylene adsorbed increased significantly rather than that o-xylene. While but total flux decreased increasing DVB content, which can be ascribed chemical structure more homogeneous chain structures membranes. The normalized permeation rate reached 2.70 kgµm/m2h 2.23, respectively, at feed concentration 10 wt% 30°C.
