摘要: PURPOSE OF INVESTIGATION To investigate the characteristics of patients with recurrent cervical carcinoma after radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection (RHND), to evaluate effect clinical surgical pathologic factors on outcome these patients. METHODS Data from files 32 RHND managed at Soroka Medical Center 1962 through 2005 were analyzed. RESULTS These represent a recurrence rate 25.4%. The median recurrence-free interval was 19.3 (range, 1-106) months. prevailing signs symptoms obstructive nephropathy, sacral pain bowel obstruction. Sixteen (50%) had loco-regional alone, 12 (27.5%) plus distant recurrence, four (12.5%) alone. Treatment modalities included radiotherapy, chemotherapy various procedures. 5-year survival 35%, 22 (68.7%) dead disease end follow-up. Univariate analysis demonstrated significant worsening in each following factors: (p = 0.010), positive nodes tumor size > or 3 cm 0.013), vascular space involvement 0.017) without bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy 0.042). In multivariate analysis, extent (locoregional alone versus recurrence) status (negative vs positive) only predictors survival. Uremia most common cause death. CONCLUSIONS Recurrent is grave unfavorable prognosis. both univariate analyses,
