摘要: Since the publication of last FIGO Cancer Report there have been giant strides in global effort to reduce burden cervical cancer, with WHO announcing a call for elimination. In over 80 countries, including LMICs, HPV vaccination is now included national program. Screening has also seen major advances implementation testing on larger scale. However, these interventions will take few years show their impact. Meanwhile, half million new cases are added each year. Recent developments imaging and increased use minimally invasive surgery changed paradigm management cases. The Gynecologic Oncology Committee revised staging system based advances.
