摘要: Development of polymer electrolytes, whose enhanced conductivities would allow the replacement unstable and flammable liquid electrolytes in Li ion batteries, has received considerable attention. In this study, incorporation two ionic liquids (ILs), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium (IL1) 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium (IL2), to bolster conductivity hybrid composite (HCPEs), based on poly(ethylene glycols) (PEGs) organic–inorganic silica nanoparticles (OINs) formed situ, been investigated. The structure HCPEs were found depend PEG molecular weights amounts ILs. containing smaller chains for higher conductivities, although preserve structural integrity HCPE films with 50–55 wt% IL, weight should be 300 or higher. Frequency sweeps showed that are elastic manifest a gel-like behavior. Although multiple ions present these HCPE, is determined by ions, while strongly improves transference number. MW 55 IL2 yielded highest 1.24 × 10−3 S cm−1, among best reported liquids.
