摘要: Surgical techniques to reduce postoperative recovery time and improve the cosmetic results have been achieved through limited incisions. In late 1990s, as a result of technical innovation in peripheral cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) technology combined with possibility endoaortic clamping, remote cardiac arrest became feasible thus enabled small access thoracoscopic surgery. Conventional instruments degrees freedom, which hampers performance complex maneuvers that involve tissue reconstruction, such suturing tying knots, particularly under tension. Robotic surgical dexterity required for these and, therefore, hold promise facilitating truly repair defects even children. Application robotic approaches open heart procedures now still is confined operations where much intracardiac performed right atrium, closure atrial or ventricular septal defects, atrioventricular canal valve repair/replacement. This chapter describes system employed congenital disease adult.
