摘要: Recognition of the significant advantages minimizing surgical trauma has resulted in a substantial increase number minimally invasive (MI) cardiac procedures being performed. Synchronously, technological advances optics, instrumentation and perfusion technology have facilitated routine totally endoscopic robotic surgery using da Vinci((R)) telemanipulation system (Intuitive Surgical Inc). This been applied to many procedures, particular, mitral valve repair (MVP) coronary artery bypass grafting (TECAB), allowing surgeon operate through 5 mm port sites rather than traditional median sternotomy. In this rapidly evolving field, we review clinical results surgery.
