摘要: Abstract Phosphonate layer formation on passive iron surface has been investigated by electrochemical, conversion electron Mossbauer spectroscopy (CEMS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) techniques. Electrochemical methods revealed that the prepassivation of results in stabilization phosphonate exhibiting favorable corrosion resistance. The rate anodic dissolution is continuously decreasing due to time-dependent a protective layer. large R ct values 1–20 MΩ cm 2 indicate rather high blocking effect metal also followed decrease capacitance. CEMS investigations were carried out evaluate differences composition as result treatment. indicated presence phosphonate. Changes morphology have observed.
