摘要: Higher compression ratio and lower air-fuel tend to raise the required break down voltage. Various types of electrode configurations were examined. It was found that a very thin platinum plate attached each effective in reducing wear. This newly developed tipped spark plug uses small sized center an enlarged initial gap. The lean misfire limit torque fluctuation at partial load are improved with plug. After durability test, voltage became due grained surface. gap almost unchanged during 80 thousand kilometer test run.
