摘要: A number of scavenger species have suffered population declines across Europe. In attempts to reverse their decline, some land and wildlife managers adopted the practice leaving or placing out carcasses wild domestic herbivores provide a source carrion. However, this can be controversial practice, with as yet unclear outcomes for many target ecosystems they are part of. Here we bring key aspects increasingly common conservation illustrated using three contrasting cases studies.
