Fast global motion estimation for sprite generation

摘要: In this paper, an efficient and fast global motion estimation method is proposed. This a generic one that can accommodate various models, ranging from simple translation model to eight parameters perspective model. At the first stage, filter implemented classify different parts of frames. Since pixels homogeneous regions highly textured do not contribute much in estimation, it proposed they-be excluded processing. The remained are fed into three-level hierarchical system dynamic sprite eventually generated. From experimental results, we conclude manages speed up processing time for generation while maintaining quality reconstructed
