摘要: In this chapter we address the problems associated with storing and retrieving multimedia presentations where objects making up presentation are stored in a distributed manner on network of computers. order to deliver users an efficient manner, quality service (QoS) parameters for various components like networks, disks, etc, need be defined before is launched. It our hypothesis that authoring tool should use internal representation known as coloured petri net, represent synchronisation spatial aspects presentation. The CPN would represented internally only not visable. outline how some commonly used sychronisation features can using CPNs discuss what kinds persistent storage needed this.
