摘要: The habituation of tonic immobility in chickens was examined six studies. It shown that repeated elicitation immobility, and not just handling, responsible for reduced response durations after multiple exposures to manual restraint. Habituation a function the number stimulus presentations and, addition, proved surprisingly durable, with diminished reactions using lasting at least 2.5 mo. Strain differences were found trials required reach criteria habituation, proceeded faster when termination self-paced as opposed experimenter induced. Also, massed produced robust sensitization effects rather than responsiveness.
