摘要: Based on a model which holds that open-field behavior is due in large part to an interaction between social separation and the threat of predation, seven experiments were conducted examine relationship tonic immobility activity chickens. The results showed placement open field prior testing for reliably enhanced duration immobility. Similarly, procedures have been shown modify length episode had comparable effect timing onset field. Since has independently implicated as putative predator defense, correspondence was taken indirect support hypothesis contains overtones predation.
