摘要: Language Related Episodes occur when speakers explicitly question lexical and grammatical aspects of the language they are using, resulting in collaborative discourse assisted performance from peers. This paper demonstrates how such negotiation repair may relation to gestural component a speaker's expression, leading us introduce parallel term ‘Gesture Episodes’. Our single case analysis reveals range issues that have received little attention, including problems people experience with gestures, what constitutes struggling modality, help each other gesture more effectively discourse. discussion links these L2 concerns knowledge asymmetries our data, as well conceptual conventional features gestures generally.
