摘要: Positron emission tomography (PET) is a diagnostic imaging technique that has progressed rapidly from being research in laboratories to routine clinical modality. The most widely used radiotracer PET Fluorine18-fluorodeoxyglucose (F18-FDG), which an analogue of glucose. FDG uptake cells directly proportional glucose metabolism cells. Since increased many fold malignant tumors high sensitivity and negative predictive value. with now the standard care initial staging, monitoring response therapy, management lung cancer, colonic lymphoma, melanoma, esophageal head neck cancer breast cancer.
