摘要: Unique optical properties, chemical stability, ease of synthesis, and wide functionalization possibilities make GNP attractive candidates for use in biomedical research including sensing, biological imaging, drug delivery, cancer treatment. In particular, the strong two-photon luminescence coupled to a specific targeting makes them ideal as contrast agents. To this aim, interaction with cells their cellular tracking are important issues successful application purposes. Properties gold nanoparticles, namely nanostars, agents GNS highlighted chapter.
