摘要: This report is a prospective study of 223 patients with intractable cancer pain who were offered continuing care during the year 1988 at Pain Relief Unit, Kidwai Memorial Institute Oncology, Bangalore, India, minimum follow-up 4 months and maximum 16 months. A high percentage relief was attained within mean duration days, which on maintained steady level in most (91.1%). Oral morphine could not be continued three because vomiting. The main side effects noticed nausea vomiting, itching, constipation. At any time first 140 only 30% had appropriate medication successfully managed these effects. During rest period, minimal. used proper adjuncts offers best palliation patients, minimal
