摘要: We present fully nonlinear time-dependent simulations of a thin liquid film flowing down an inclined plane. Within the lubrication approximation, and assuming complete wetting, we find that varying inclination angle considerably modifies shape emerging patterns: Finger-shaped patterns result for flow vertical plane, while saw-tooth develop flows However, in all our simulations, roots always move, indicating is not necessarily related to surface coverage, technologically important feature flow. Furthermore, triangular steady-state may be produced incline, fingers typically grow length explored times. quantitative agreement with reported experiments, suggest new ones.
