摘要: An explanation of the mechanism for fingering instability at driven contact lines is presented. Semiquantitative predictions growth fingers as a function time, most unstable wavelength, and initial rate are deduced. These consistent with recent experiments de Bruyn [Phys. Rev. A 46, R4500 (1992)].
