摘要: Motor information conveyed by viewing the kinematics of an agent's action helps to predict how will unfold. Still, observed movement is processed in brain remains be clarified. Here, we used magnetoencephalography (MEG) determine at which frequency and where brain, neural activity coupled with executed motor actions. Whole-scalp MEG signals were recorded from 11 right-handed healthy adults while they executing (Self) or observing (Other) similar goal-directed hand actions performed actor placed front them. Actions consisted pinching right green foam-made pieces mixed a heap other colors on table, put them plastic pot side heap. Subjects' actor's forefinger movements monitored accelerometer. The coherence between acceleration was computed sensor level. Then, cortical sources coherent identified Dynamic Imaging Coherent Sources. Statistically significant sensor-level peaked (F0) its first harmonic (F1) both conditions. Apart visual cortices, statistically local maxima posterior superior temporal gyrus (F0), bilateral parietal lobule (F0 F1) primary sensorimotor cortex These results suggest that others' engages viewer's kinematic-related manner as during own execution. findings bring new insights into human covaries essential features others.
