摘要: Outward radiation pressure can exceed the inward gravitational pull on gas clouds in neighbourhood of a luminous active galactic nucleus (AGN). This creates forbidden region for long-lived dusty observed columnn density–Eddington fraction plane. (The Eddington λEdd is ratio bolometric luminosity an AGN to limit its black hole mass.) The Swift/Burst Alert Telescope catalogue most complete hard X-ray selected sample and has 97 low-redshift with measured column densities NH inferred masses. fractions sources have been obtained using recent corrections plotted NH–λEdd Only one source lies it large value due ionized warm absorber, which reduced. effective population indicates that high density more objects lie within inner few pc, where central provides at least half mass. Our result shows does affect presence galaxy bulge. We discuss briefly how plane may evolve higher redshift, when feedback strong.
