摘要: CD1d-restricted invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cells are known as potent early regulatory of immune responses. Besides the established roles in regulation inflammation and autoimmune disease, studies have shown that iNKT important tumor surveillance control metastasis. Here we found absence markedly decreased total number intestinal polyps APCMin/+ mice, a model for colorectal cancer. Polyp were enriched interleukin-10 (IL-10)- IL-17-producing cells, showed distinct phenotype being CD4+, NK1.1- CD44int, PD-1lo, they negative NKT cell transcription factor promyelocytic leukemia zinc-finger. The was associated with reduced frequency (Tregs) lower expression levels FoxP3 protein transcript uniquely polyps, switch to an inflammatory macrophage phenotype. Moreover, cell-deficient T-helper (TH) 1-associated genes, such IFN-γ Nos2, increased concomitantly elevated frequencies conventional CD4+ CD8+ this tissue. results suggest population locally promote polyp formation by enhancing Treg immunosuppression antitumor TH1 immunity.
