Femtolet: A novel fifth generation network device for green mobile cloud computing

摘要: Abstract For the first time, this paper proposes a new network device denoted as ‘Femtolet’ for fifth generation mobile to provide communication and computation offloading facilities simultaneously at low power latency. The features of two separate devices femtocell base station cloudlet are combined into single Femtolet services along with cloud environment architecture working principle proposed discussed its consumption model Mathematical analyses present that using instead existing plus Small Cell cloud-enhanced e-node B architectures, can be reduced by approximately 17% 11% respectively. also show reduce latency 20% 13% than architectures is simulated Qualnet7 performance analyzed respect average delay, jitter, energy in transmit received modes, carried load, throughput, time power.
