摘要: Abstract Mobile cloud computing (MCC) is an emerging paradigm for transparent elastic augmentation of mobile devices capabilities, exploiting ubiquitous wireless access to storage and resources. MCC aims at increasing the range resource-intensive tasks supported by devices, while preserving extending their Its main concerns regard energy efficiency, processing power data safety, improve experience users. The design systems a challenging task, because both device Cloud have find energy-time tradeoffs choices on one side affect performance other side. analysis literature points out that all existing models focus considering as system with unlimited Also, best our knowledge, no MCC-specific simulation tool exists. To fill this gap, in paper, we propose modeling framework systems, encompassing components. pillar proposed autonomic strategy consisting adaptive loops between every Cloud. model takes into account online estimations actual – not only nominal values indicators. At same time, consideration characteristics workload, adapt its configuration terms active virtual machines task management strategies. Moreover, developed discrete event simulator effective evaluation whole, or single components, different classes parallel jobs.
