摘要: Progesterone (P4) acts through different actuating pathways called genomic and non-genomic pathways. Here we investigated whether P4 regulates prostaglandin (PG) F2? (PGF) PGE2 production in bovine endometrium Cultured endometrial cells were exposed to for a short time (5-20min) or serum albumin (BSA)-conjugated (P4-BSA) 24h. treatment 24h stimulated epithelial cells, but suppressed both PGF the expression of PG-metabolising enzymes including phospholipase A2 (PLA2) cyclooxygenase-2 (COX2) stromal cells. Short-term did not affect PLA2 COX2 transcript levels either cell type. P4-BSA increased only Nuclear receptor mRNA was higher at follicular phase than early- mid-luteal stages, whereas membrane change throughout oestrous cycle. The overall results suggest that controls PG by inhibiting via pathway stimulating signal transduction pathway. Consequently, may protect corpus luteum attenuating increasing secretion from
