摘要: The diagnosis of bacteremia in children is important and it can be clinically challenging to recognize the signs symptoms. reported rates are higher young but with increasing vaccine coverage, there has been a decrease due three preventable bacteria (Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae group b Neisseria meningitidis). Notably, have increases healthcare-associated bacteremias rise Staphylococcus aureus Gram negative bacteremias. This review provides brief overview clinical children, focusing on epidemiology, characteristics, risk factors, antibiotic treatment, outcomes preventative measures reduce incidence improve morbidity mortality.
