摘要: Abstract Phytoremediation is the most environmentally friendly remediation technology for mitigating agricultural land contamination. However, phytoremediation a slow process. If harvested plants cannot provide economic benefits, may not be applicable. In this study, peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) and rape (Brassica campestris were planted on Pb-contaminated farmland with Pb concentration of 5600 mg kg−1. The objectives to investigate effect soil growth, estimate Pb-removal efficiency evaluate benefits using products as biomass energy or other purposes. All these efforts assessment feasibility phytoremediation. study found that yield removal rate both higher peanuts than rapeseed plants. Planting produced 38.35 t ha−1 y−1 dry matter, removed 17.6 kg ha−1 y−1 Pb. As biofuel, matter can generate heat value 654.5 GJ ha−1 y−1, which comparable by burning 31.3 t raw coal. output kernel was 6.3 t ha−1 y−1 content less European Union’s maximum limit animal feeds, would valuable feed. A period 317 years required remove all phytoavailable-Pb from site peanuts. This concluded feasible phytoremediation, supported revenues derived crops in farmland.
