摘要: An optical fiber sensor for simultaneous measurement of axial strain and temperature is reported. This configuration consists an in-line etalon cascaded with a in-fiber Bragg grating demultiplexed using variation coherence division multiplexing. The strain/temperature demonstrated by bonding it to the surface aluminum cantilever beam embedding into graphite/epoxy composite beams. They are found agree traditional sensors within 5 (mu) (epsilon) 0.5 degree(s)C, respectively gage length approximately 1.0 cm.© (1997) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society Optical Engineering.
