摘要: The morphology of moderator bands in both heart ventricular cavities was examined on macro- and microscopic levels 14 six-month-old Landrace pigs. One transverse band, measuring 2.9 ± 0.6 mm diameter, located between the septum free wall right cavity. On cross-section, clumps conductive cells were found at periphery band its central part around blood vessels. Large amounts muscle fibres identified. left cavity contained form thin cords, 1.05 0.09 diameter mostly interventricular papillary muscles. Conductive tissue represented by Purkinje cells, surrounded myocardial fibres. proportion approximately same. Owing to different bands, we assume that ventricles play primary functional roles. Our results compared with previous data pigs other ungulate animal species.
