摘要: Lysozymes are key proteins that play important roles in innate immune defense many animal phyla by breaking down the bacterial cell-walls. In this study, we report molecular cloning, sequence analysis and phylogeny of first caudate amphibian g-lysozyme: a full-length spleen cDNA library from axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum). A goose-type (g-lysozyme) EST was identified obtained using RACE-PCR. The g-lysozyme represents an open reading frame for putative signal peptide mature protein composed 184 amino acids. calculated mass theoretical isoelectric point (pl) 21523.0 Da 4.37, respectively. Expression mRNA is predominantly found skin, with lower levels spleen, liver, muscle, lung. Phylogenetic revealed had distinct evolution pattern being juxtaposed not only anura amphibian, but also fish, bird mammal. Although complete reported present clones encoding axolotl's other functional molecules will have to be further sequenced gain insight into fundamental aspects antibacterial mechanisms caudate.
