摘要: Abstract Human T cells from thymus and blood, separated into subpopulations on continuous density gradients, were investigated for binding of monoclonal antibodies activity several enzymes. According to those parameters, differences related the specific gravity found. Virtually all heavy thymocytes positive OKT10, 8, 6, 4, but did not bind OKT3. In contrast, a substantial part light bound OKT3 OKT4, OKT6 OKT8. lymphocytes enriched in OKT8, whereas contained more OKT4-positive cells. Heavy peripheral thymocytes, which had an immature isoenzyme pattern lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), poor proliferative response vitro, low activities 5′-nucleotidase (5′NT) purine nucleoside phosphorylase (PNP) high adenosine deaminase. Light mature LDH higher 5′NT PNP. We conclude that vitro must be due multiple intrinsic properties, including stage maturation occurrence (precursors for) suppressor
