摘要: Background Patients with recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB) have deficiencies of collagen type VII and elevated levels fibroblast collagenase, a greatly increased risk cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. Patients other genetic blistering disorders do not collagenase or an carcinoma, despite chronic wounding. The connection between deficiency, carcinoma is understood.
