摘要: Background: The ability of a doctor to communicate with patients effectively is one the core competencies family physician. Teaching communication skills peculiar and challenging subject. Objectives: This study was conducted explore perceptions medicine trainers, their teaching approaches, opinions about improvements in skills. Materials Methods: qualitative study. Both semi-structured interviews focus group discussion were used. trainers purposively selected analysis performed manually. Results: Twenty-four interviewed. It found that interviewees perceived as something very important interesting but difficult. Effective subject limited by curriculum design where time distribution between hospital training did not satisfy requirement skills. Time constraints organization patient services centers contribute challenges effectively. practice attitudes toward effective methods variably among this trainers. assessment modalities final point whole process discriminating indicator true level residents’ Their main ideas for give more emphasis curriculum, it weight board examination, establish standard medicine. Conclusions: Communication complex area training. Focused efforts are required developing standards.
