摘要: Background and Objectives: Training partnerships between family medicine residencies (FMRs) community health centers (CHCs) are a potential solution to the chronic problem of workforce shortages in CHCs. We conducted national survey identify barriers training residents Methods: asked US residency directors Using grounded theory, three coders grouped responses by theme. examined differences programs that currently train CHCs with do not Results: A total 51% (226/439) program responded. Of these, 29% cited governance as barrier affiliation, 26% administrative complexity, 24% financial considerations, 21% leadership, 18% access. Programs trained were more likely cite considerations complexity than did Conclusions: Governance most commonly effective CHC-FMR partnerships. Financial consideration leadership issues also common barriers.
