摘要: PURPOSE: To investigate the incidence of second cancers occurring in patients with early stage (I/II) non–small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated radiation therapy (RT) alone. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Seventy-eight had been conventionally fractionated (CF) RT (1982 to 1987), and 116 hyperfractionated (Hfx) (1988 1993). Tumor doses were 60 Gy for CF 69.6 (1.2 bid) Hfx. RESULTS: A total 26 developed cancers. The cumulative was 21.8% (SE, 4.7%) at 5 years 34.8% 6.7%) 10 years.
