摘要: Abstract Helicobacter pylori might be readily affected with photodynamic therapy (PDT) by weak wavelengths, because it has few repair genes. Recently, gastrointestinal endoscopy emitting specific wavelengths (narrowband imaging, NBI) been developed for the early detection of tumors. Coincidentally, its wavelength (415 nm) is very similar to (410 nm) that activates protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) as a photosensitizer (PS). Therefore, we studied in vitro PDT against H. using NBI and conventional white light (WL) according low or high concentration PpIX along exposure time. The bactericidal effects, degree oxidative DNA damage membrane integrity after were evaluated. In control, numbers viable cells remained constant during experiment. Viable both endoscopic irradiation, decreased approximately 103 – 105 fold at below 0.80 × 10 PpIX. Only was observed microscopically without injury. Conclusively, either effect decrease bacterial loading PpIX, would expected (NBI WL).
