摘要: Smut caused by Sporisorium scitamineum is one of the most economically important diseases sugarcane. In order to comprehend smut resistance in sugarcane, pathogenic determinants this intriguing fungus need be identified. However, knowledge on molecular mechanisms behind its pathogenicity inadequate and none predicted putative effectors has been functionally characterised. Based established close genomic synteny between S. Ustilago maydis, preliminary study, we have identified orthologs characterised U. maydis viz., Pep1, Cmu1, Tin2, Srt1, Stp1 Pit1 genome, using blast - based searches. Further, silico analysis revealed that candidate share higher sequence identity with reilianum than sequences. Signal peptides, transmembrane other conserved domains effector were consistent reported effectors. addition, also shared considerable homology sequences closely-related fungi codon sites evidence positive selection episodic diversifying detected a few Temporal gene expression transcript increased significantly after 3 days post inoculation was expressed distinct patterns throughout infection cycle. The results study indicate these could among closely related fungi.
