摘要: Debates about the socially inclusionary potential of heritage have to date focused principally on sites and museums. Relatively little attention has been paid wider Cultural Built Heritage (CBH) that surrounds us in our everyday lives. This paper starts with a brief theoretical exploration social role key policy background. Then, based an understanding action England, this sets out framework for considering how CBH might contribute inclusion. A fundamental binary divide is made between as historic places opportunity spaces which regeneration may occur. However, neither case necessarily inclusive.
