Analysis of the Efficiency Determinants of Health Systems in OECD Countries by DEA and Panel Tobit

摘要: In recent years, almost all countries around the world face budget cuts in health spending, which force public and private hospitals these to use their resources effectively provide more efficient care. this context, present study evaluates hospital efficiency across 29 OECD between 2000 2010 investigates determinants affecting hospitals’ activities. first stage of two-stage performance analysis, scores were measured by data envelopment analysis (DEA) while, second stage, Panel Tobit Analysis was used identify environmental factors that affect obtained stage.
