摘要: Abstract The esterification of acidified oil with ethanol catalyzed by sulfonated cation exchange resins (SCER) was optimized using the response surface methodology (RSM). effects molar ratio to oil, reaction time and catalyst loading on conversion rate free fatty acids (FFAs) were investigated at temperature boiling point ethanol. Results showed that highest 75.24% obtained 23.2, 8.0 h 35.0 wt.%. Moreover, FFAs increased 98.32% a water adsorption apparatus under RSM conditions. Scanning electronic microscopic–energy dispersive spectrometric (SEM–EDS), X-ray diffractometric (XRD) thermogravimetric–derivative thermogravimetric (TG–DTG) analyses confirmed morphology catalysts did not change much mechanical thermal stabilities still good after reaction. Furthermore, SCER exhibited high catalytic activity stability being reused for five successive times. fuel properties biodiesel comparable ASTM, EN GB standard.
